the sensex closed at a new record high

Boosted by foreign fund buying, the sensex closed at a new record high of 21,165 on Thursday after scaling 21,205 in intra-day trade – just two points below its all-time peak recorded nearly five years ago.

The day’s late rally came on the back of strong buying in banking stocks after initial results from some of the large public sector banks raised hopes that their woes relating to bad loans due to a weakening economy may have already turned around from a trough. read more at

Flat to negative opening is expected with choppy session then direction move  later …trade in nifty futures  as per these levels

Buy at / above: 6323   Targets: 6339 – 6358 – 6376 – 6396
Stoploss : 6298
Sell at / below: 6298   Targets: 6281- 6263 – 6244 – 6224
Stoploss : 6323

weekly chart is showing that nifty is trading near  its all time high 6355…closed at 6299..which may act as long term double top or may  move to a new record high …
